DHM 1003: DESIGN THEORY & PROCESSES

Course Description

Design is a creative endeavor. It requires not only an aesthetically pleasing solution, but also a response to a problem or functional requirement. Our purpose as designers is to observe, synthesize, and formulate a design resolution, as well as ultimately communicate that design resolution. This course is an introduction to the design process, and explores two and three dimensional visual design fundamentals.
