DHM 2403: RESEARCH METHODS

Course Description

This course addresses the use of design, housing, or merchandising research as an aid to making decisions; specifically, how the information used to make decisions is gathered and analyzed. Students will apply sociological, anthropological, and psychological research approaches. After completing the course, you will possess skills to better conduct qualitative and quantitative research. You will not only be able to setup an experiment, but also know how to collect and analyze data, and report your findings. The course will strengthen your decision making, problem solving, analytical skills and support subsequent course content in DHM.
