Studio course utilizing the design process in the analysis and planning of hospitality design and/or institutional design such as health care and education. Approaches include the consideration of the impact on facility management. Students will have a choice to proceed through the semester working on the two assigned projects in teams (Option 1) OR choose an independent semester long project that they will be responsible for programming, site selection, client communications and all deliverables (Option 2). These options will be discussed on the first day of studio.
